Testing a Blog Post from Mobile Device
Unlike Wordpress, it is rather hard to find a native iPhone application for Movable Type. Six Apart teams have a Typepad application for iPhone, but not Movable Type. For iPhone i found two application that supports Movable Type, BlogPress and BlogWriter.
I’m currently trying out BlogWriter Free to see how it works. Connections to MT is going through XML-RPC. As for the application itself, it’s pretty basic. There’s no WYSIWYG when posting entries, so I’m not sure what the format will look like.
I’m going to try this for a few days to see if I like it.

may I know what is the advantage of using movable type instead of wordpress? anything particular then?
One of the advantages of Movable Type is multiple blogs. I think nowadays it's equivalent to Wordpress MU.
One of the things I like in Movable Type is static publishing. Basically, your entries will be "exported" to a static HTML. Since it is just a static HTML, the performance is *very* good. Of course, all your contents are still stored in the database though.
But my main reason to use MT was because it supported PostgreSQL. Most of my web app are already using PostgreSQL so I was hoping to find a weblog engine that supports PostgreSQL. And that the time I chose MT.
Ironically, MT is now dropping PostgreSQL support :D
